Employment Opportunities at McAuley's Unique Boutique

Models:

  • Our modeling positions are VERY part time, no more than 5 hours per week unless we have a very heavy shipment.
  • Weekly website pictures are typically taken on Mondays. Location photo shoots take place on Saturdays, no more than once per month.
  • No previous modeling experience required
  • Models are responsible for doing their own makeup for in store shoots so that they will not appear washed out under studio lighting
  • Applicants should be at least 5'7"
  • Applicants should be between a size 0 and a size 4, or size 24-27 in jeans.
  • Ideally, we would like our models to be able to work from time to time inside the store during events, but it is not required.
  • Email at least one headshot and one full body shot, size information, as well as your hours of availability to kelin@mcauleysboutique.com. Pictures do not need to be professional as long as they are good quality. Please do not submit photos taken with a webcam or cell phone.


Sales Associates

McAuley's is currently accepting applications for both full & part-time sales associates.

Applicants must:
  • be at least 18 years of age
  • possess a valid driver's license and a reliable source of transportation
  • possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • have retail experience in a relevant industry. Relevant industries include jewelry, shoes, accessories, or clothing. Boutique or department store experience is a plus

  • Hours of availability. Note that our hours of operation are 10AM-8PM Monday through Saturday and 1:30PM-6PM on Sunday. Full-time applicants should be willing and able to work any day of the week.
  • Personal statement expressing why you feel that you are uniquely suited for a position with McAuley's. What fashion-related skills or experiences do you have that qualify you? What makes you the best candidate?
  • A photo of yourself in your most fashionable ensemble. McAuley's employees are expected to maintain a stylish, well put together, and professional appearance at all times. If you look your best, customers are more likely to both trust you and buy from you.
  • If you are a student living in the area for school only, please indicate that at the time of application. Also note whether or not you will be here for the summer.
Once we have received your resume, applicants being considered for an interview will receive a short pre-interview questionnaire to fill out. If you would prefer to come to the store in person to pick up an application, rather than submitting a resume online, you are more than welcome to do so.
